Do you lead rounds?

Sometimes. It depends on the deal and the stage. We’re comfortable leading or co-investing alongside other angels and funds.

What stage do you invest at?

Pre-seed and Seed. Occasionally we’ll participate in a Series A if our network adds clear value.

Do I need to be based in the U.S.?

No. We back founders building across borders—whether you’re scaling into the U.S., out of it, or between emerging markets. What matters is the global ambition.

What’s an SPV?

A Special Purpose Vehicle—a simple legal structure that lets a group of investors back a single company together. One line on your cap table, not fifteen.

How long does the process take?

It varies, but typically a few weeks from first conversation to investment decision. We move with intention, not bureaucracy.

What happens after you invest?

You get access to the Tala network—investors and operators who can make introductions, share perspective, and help you navigate new markets. We stay involved.
